It’s a long gap that I am writing this post, quite similar to me in fact, irregular and pretty consistent in my irregularity.
But since last week, when the news of Madhu Koda started buzzing all around I got up from my “Blog-Slumber” and thought of justifying the name of my blog, “WorldzStrange”.
I still remember the time, when the little state of jungles – Jharkhand was taking birth. There was a state of jubilation in the air. For a 15-year-old boy, it was difficult to understand the fruit of their accomplishment. “How come a small home for you become a matter of jubilation than a bigger one” was little difficult for me to comprehend, but in any case I was happy because there was a holiday in the school. Although I was not that studious kind, who rarely misses his school but holidays had an altogether different flavor.
Anyways, leaving my anecdotal flashback, I should throw some light on my main topic.
Being myself having a strong root in Jharkhand, news from the small Eastern state always inflicted a greater interest in me. So when last week, the name of Mr. Madhu Koda flourished all over the national media, I took some time out from my retiring student life and googled about him. And the story was simply fascinating, from a mine-worker to the mining minister of the state and ultimately holding the chief minister’s chair for two years, courtesy to Indian algebraic Politics [Coalition Politics] was really commendable. But his other accomplishments are even more laudable. Even, great Ambanis would have been proud to achieve something of this stature in such a span of time. It took Reliance Industries something around 25 years to increase its turnover from 70 odd crores to 75,000 crores, whereas the acumen of Jharkhand build an asset pool of around 4000 crores in JUST TWO YEARS!!!
Hats off Mr. Koda, if the figures come out really accurate you have done a tremendous job. After all, it’s not easy to amass almost 3/4th of the entire state’s GDP in just a two year term!! I am sure, that you must not have allowed a fraction of your rickety tenure for any kind of unproductive work. Otherwise these kinds of results are unattainable. I think the people of India should give you a public felicitation, for managing public money so well and make it grow like anything by opening up offices and hotels across the globe. After all our democracy allows us to offer felicitation only, for everything else we have our blind grumpy legal framework. The way it has delivered justice in cases of earlier scams, we can be assured of the same legacy to be continued.
In a country where some of the poorest but most resourceful states are being headed by some of the most _____________* chief ministers like you, our country require some magic tricks from the center to keep the voices at bay, otherwise from the land of Tilka Majhi and Sidhu –Kanu, the sound might get louder. Its high time Madam Sonia, that you start searching someone with a CV heavy with some ground level realities and not an expert of Marginal Economics to manage this country.
There might be some jobs in the offering, start making your CV accordingly.
